Meet the Treasures
While they may not be headlining arena's or topping radio charts (yet), these artists are as talented as they come. They bring joy to their community, and play for the love of music. All treasures are hand selected not only for their talent, but for the authenticity of their personalities, and the purity of their intentions.

Tarantulabanjo
(AKA T-Ranch)
Tarantulabanjo (also known as Andy Roberts) is a local songwriter, family man, and homesteader based in Bootjack, CA. He was raised in Mariposa, where he was introduced to music through school band. Andy’s music is inspired by the land he calls home, and by a sense of gratitude for simple country living. Andy is also a community music organizer, hosting Music on the Green, a summer concert series in the Mariposa Art Park. You can find his music on spotify, and his Local Treasures video is out now!
Deb Sipes
Deb Sipes is not only a local treasure, but a universal treasure. Legend has it she learned to play guitar from Jerry Garcia, and sang backup vocals on his 1969 track Mountains of the Moon. Deb sings straight from the soul, and has a smooth bluesy style on guitar to back it up.
Deb and her late husband Frank Sipes were founders of Good Medecine, a “Pholkadelic” local band that played across the states. Following Franks passing in 2024, Deb has continued to keep his spirit and songs alive, and brings joy to all those fortunate enough to hear .
